I’ve been sitting on the idea of a local "art drop" for ages. This past Saturday, I finally made it happen and sprinkled what I like to think of as "Free Joy" throughout downtown Little Rock.
I chose three of my prints and set out with a simple mission: Find it? Resonate with it? Want it? Keep it! Lately, I’ve felt a bit disconnected from my artistic community, keeping most of my work tucked away in journals and sketchbooks. Engaging with the city in this way was exactly the spark I needed. If you happen to be one of the people who found a print, I hope it brightened your day as much as the experience brightened mine!
If you’re ever feeling stuck, my best advice is to get out into the world and do something new.
